Museum Island Trustees
In autumn 2001, leading companies came together to form the "Museum Island Trustees", a board for the support of the Museum Island. Nominated "World Cultural Heritage" by UNESCO in 1999, the Museum Island is not only the heart of the Berlin museum landscape but also the epicentre of the National Museums in Berlin. The Trustees support this unique museum ensemble through their sponsorship.
