Institute for Museum Research

The Institute provides a library which keeps a wide range of national and international museum relevant journals (94 periodicals in all) and over 12.000 books on museum-related subjects. The library is open to every museum colleague and to researchers.

Collection focusses:
museum studies, cultural politics, museum guides, all subjects relevant to the museum as an institution (holdings comprise approx. 15,000 items and the volumes of approx. 90 magazines which the institute subscribes to).
