Artistic workshop with HAJUSOM
HAJUSOM is a Hamburg label for transnational art, established in 1999 as an initiative by three unaccompanied child refugees, Hatice - Jusef - Omid. The workshop offers participants the opportunity to examine the history of cultural ties between Africa and Europe. The links between the Berlin 'Congo Conference' of 1884/85 and current refugee and immigration waves are exposed through historical research.
